How we make money

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and end up paying for the tool, the vendor pays us a share. It costs you nothing, and it is the whole of how this site is funded. There is no advertising, no sponsored placement and no paid inclusion: a vendor cannot buy a position here, cannot buy a better verdict, and cannot buy the removal of a drawback we have named.

What that money does buy is time. Setting a tool up on a live campaign, running the same traffic through it, checking its reported numbers against the ad platform and against a second tracker, and reading months of threads takes days per tool. The commissions pay for those days.

What the money cannot move

Rankings are ordinal and the rubric is published at how we test. Every tool we recommend carries a named drawback, including whichever one we rank first — a recommendation with no stated cost is the clearest sign a page was bought. Where a tool has no affiliate programme at all, we still rank it, and you will find several here that pay us nothing.

One connection you should weigh yourself

ElasticFunnels is made by the same company that runs this site. That is a material connection and you should know it before you read our verdict on it, rather than after.

How we handle it: it is measured against the same rubric as everything else, its drawbacks are named the way every other tool's are — it is newer than the tools it competes with, it has almost no third-party review coverage, and its payment-routing advantage is worth nothing to a seller with a single processor — and it does not displace a tool that beats it on the criteria we publish. We would rather you discount our opinion of it knowingly than discover the connection somewhere else.
