Voluum review

Ad tracker for media buyers running profitable ad campaigns

By Dana Rourke, Lead Reviewer. Reviewed by Campaign Buyer Editorial. Updated 21 October 2026.

Our verdict

Voluum is the pick if you run affiliate or native campaigns and want the proven, low-friction tracker other buyers already use, provided you can absorb the price.

Voluum is the tracker most affiliates learned on, and that history is its real advantage. For Meta and native campaigns it is the default answer in nearly every thread, which means every traffic source, offer type and integration you might need has already been documented by someone before you, so a setup problem in the middle of the night usually has a forum answer waiting.

The infrastructure is fast, redirects hold up at volume, and anti-fraud and traffic-distribution rules come in the base product. A buyer whose income depends on redirects never stalling gets that reliability for the higher price.

And you do pay. Voluum starts at $119/mo billed annually for 1M events and climbs to $299 for 5M, with overages charged above that. For a buyer running simple ecommerce funnels, RedTrack's ecommerce plans do the same core job for less. Voluum earns its price for high-volume affiliate and native buyers who value the ecosystem and the uptime. Someone tracking a single offer will pay for capacity they never touch.

Pros and cons

What works

  • The default recommendation for Meta and native affiliate traffic, so setups and integrations are well documented
  • Fast redirect and reporting infrastructure that holds up at volume
  • Anti-fraud and traffic-distribution rules come standard

What to watch

  • The most expensive mainstream tracker: $119/mo billed annually to start, $299 to reach 5M events
  • Event overages are billed on top, so costs are hard to predict as traffic grows
  • You pay for polish you may not need if your funnels are simple

What buyers keep saying

Research: unverified

Price vs depth

Buyers praise Voluum for capability while saying the subscription only feels fair once ad spend is large enough to use the allowance and automation.

“Voluum's powerful but the pricing hurts unless you're spending big.”

u/thread Reddit: The best click tracker?

“Voluum is nice but kinda overpriced for pops unless you're huge.”

u/anonymous Reddit: Keitaro vs RedTrack vs Voluum

Automation expectations

Threads treat Automizer as useful for rules and cost sync, not as a substitute for manual optimization on smaller accounts.

“you can get 80% of the benefit with good rules and manual optimization”

Pop traffic and the event cap

On the Keitaro, RedTrack and Voluum thread, a buyer says Voluum is overpriced for pop traffic unless spend is large.

“overpriced for pops unless you're huge”

Tracker versus DSP

Voluum's docs describe a cloud-hosted performance ad tracker that records impressions, visits, clicks, and conversions. The same tracking page names Zeropark as the ad network. The 2020 DSP terms describe a platform that purchases ad space. A 2022 forum thread quotes a shutdown email that left the tracker account in place, and the voluumdsp.com homepage now presents the tracker.

“Voluum is an advanced, real-time analytics platform, designed for performance marketers and self-serve advertisers to track the progress and profitability of their online campaigns.”
