Our verdict
PageFly is the pick if you run a smaller Shopify store, want a capable builder for a low monthly price, and only need a handful of pages live at once. It is the most-installed builder in the category. The catch is the published-page limit on cheaper plans and the front-end weight it adds.
PageFly is the default first builder for a Shopify store on a budget. Plans start at $24/mo, the free tier covers a single published page, and it is one of the most-reviewed apps in the App Store, so whatever you are building, someone has already posted a template or a walkthrough for it. For a store shipping a few landing and detail pages, that is often enough.
It is flexible drag-and-drop that covers product, offer and section layouts without touching code, which is why smaller merchants reach for it before anything pricier.
Two limits keep it from ranking higher for a buyer scaling ads. The cheaper plans cap how many pages you can keep published, and buyers report discovering that ceiling only after launch, when it reads as a forced upgrade. And in a public speed test on a clean theme it added the heaviest payload of the builders measured. For light use it is the value pick; for weekly experiments at scale, Replo does more.
Pros and cons
What works
- Cheap to start: plans open at $24/mo, and a free tier covers a single published page
- The most-reviewed builder on the Shopify App Store, so templates, guides and support answers are easy to find
- Flexible drag-and-drop that handles product detail pages, offers and theme sections without code
What to watch
- Lower plans cap how many pages stay published at once, and buyers report hitting that ceiling after launch as a forced upgrade
- In a public before-and-after test it added the heaviest payload of the builders measured, near 350 KB and several hundred milliseconds of mobile load
- Testing and analytics are thinner than Replo's, so heavy experimenters outgrow it
