Choose Core or Pro before the renewal

The plans
Core is $79 a month and Pro is $199 a month. Yearly billing is 25% off. The trial is 7 days. Order bumps, one-click upsells, A/B testing, Subscription Saver, the Affiliate Center and third-party processors are on Pro. SamPay is 2.9% plus 30 cents, and SamCart adds no platform fee on top of that. The Done For You plan requires a custom quote.

Is it worth the money?
SamCart is a reasonable choice if you want the Pro checkout tools and you can cancel before the deadline in the terms. Complaints about surprise renewals, refused refunds and the Pro price are common, and they match the published policy. Reports of the checkout failing are much less common than the billing complaints.
What works
- The homepage says 75,000+ businesses use SamCart, which is a large user base.
- A public thread calls the checkout plain and workable.
- You can cancel from the Billing page. If you cancel a legacy plan, you cannot turn it back on.
- The Done For You plan requires a custom quote for sellers who want SamCart to migrate the account.
What to watch
- Once a monthly renewal has been processed, that charge is not refunded if you cancel late.
- Every active subscription has to be cancelled separately. Cancelling one leaves the others running.
- Order bumps, one-click upsells, failed-payment recovery, split tests and the affiliate center are on the higher plan.
- Older Capterra reviews describe email support as slow.
