Ad tracker cost calculator
Type in your monthly events and see what each tracker costs at your volume on its published plans, metered cloud and flat self-hosted side by side.

A tracker's pricing page gives you a plan price and an event allowance. Your bill depends on how far past that allowance your traffic runs, and with pop or push traffic that can happen in the first week of a campaign. Buyers comparing trackers on r/Affiliatemarketing warn that pop traffic burns through millions of events quickly and the overage piles up.
This calculator prices your volume on every plan of nine trackers and keeps the cheaper of two answers: the smallest plan that covers you, or a smaller plan plus overage. The result is an estimate from list prices. Still deciding between a hosted tracker and one on your own server? Read cloud vs self-hosted ad tracker first.

Monthly list prices in each vendor's currency, from each vendor's own pricing page on the date shown. "No cap" means the license or managed plan carries no event limit. AdsBridge allowances are visits.
How the calculator works
For each tracker it walks through every plan in the table. A plan whose allowance covers your volume costs its list price. A plan you outgrow costs its list price plus the extra events at that plan's published rate per 1,000. The lowest of those totals is the tracker's answer. Where a vendor lists no overage rate for a plan, the calculator only uses that plan up to its allowance and never guesses a rate.
The word "event" means something slightly different at each vendor, which is why one campaign produces different counts:
- RedTrack counts a click or a conversion.
- Voluum and BeMob count visits, clicks, conversions and impressions, and Voluum turns every 10 impressions into one event.
- FunnelFlux also bills rotator and condition node visits and custom events.
- AdsBridge meters visits and leaves clicks and conversions free.
Your event count goes to every tracker as typed, with two adjustments: AdsBridge gets your visit count, and Voluum gets a tenth of your impressions on top.
The self-hosted licenses (Binom v2, CPV Lab Pro and Keitaro) have no event cap, so their price is flat. They need a server you rent. Keitaro's own documentation asks for at least 4 GB of RAM and a 20 GB SSD. Server prices vary too much by host to estimate, so the calculator adds the figure you type and leaves it out when you type none. Keitaro sells in euros and is shown in euros, without a conversion. Voluum and Keitaro publish only a yearly-billing price in our data. With month-to-month selected, their rows keep the yearly figure and are marked.
The results exclude add-ons and limits outside the event meter: RedTrack's faster ad-spend sync, Binom Protect, extra Binom licenses, extra FunnelFlux domains, user seats and tax. Read the plan pages for RedTrack pricing and Voluum pricing for the seats and features each tier adds. How we source prices is on our methodology page.
Worked example: 5 million events a month, paid yearly
This is the calculator's default, with visits equal to events and no impressions. Here is how each hosted tracker arrives at its number:
- FunnelFlux includes 2 million events, and the other 3 million cost $10 per million, so $30 on top of the base plan: $129 in total.
- RedTrack Solo's allowance is exactly 5 million, so you pay the Solo price and nothing more.
- ClickFlare Starter with 4 million events of overage would come to $229, more than the Pro plan, which already covers 5 million.
- AdsBridge Professional covers 3 million visits. The 2 million extra add $80, for $169.
- BeMob Professional plus 4 million extra events at $0.05 per 1,000 comes to $249, the same as the Business plan.
- Voluum Profit would run to $359 with overage, so Scale is the cheaper route.
Binom Cloud stays flat at its managed price. The three self-hosted licenses cost the same at 5 million events as at 500,000, plus whatever your server costs.
At this volume the gap between the cheapest and the dearest hosted tracker is more than double. FunnelFlux and RedTrack sit within $12 of each other, so the choice between those two should come down to features and support.
RedTrack vs Voluum: monthly cost at four volumes
Both on yearly billing, each on its cheapest plan or plan plus overage for that volume.
| Monthly volume | RedTrack | Voluum |
|---|---|---|
| 1M events | $141 (Solo) | $119 (Profit) |
| 5M events | $141 (Solo) | $299 (Scale) |
| 10M events | $333 (Team) | $549 (Scale) |
| 20M events | $333 (Team) | $1,049 (Scale) |
Voluum is cheaper only at the bottom of the range. Around 1.4 million events the two cross, because RedTrack's entry plan already holds 5 million while Voluum's holds 1 million. Past 5 million, Voluum's Scale plan bills every extra 1,000 events, and RedTrack moves to Team with 20 million included, so the gap keeps widening. If you track impressions on Voluum, add a tenth of them to its meter before you compare.
Price is one half of that decision. The attribution, cost-sync and support differences are in our RedTrack vs Voluum comparison.
Cloud vs self-hosted: the full monthly bill
A metered cloud plan grows with your traffic. At 20 million events a month the hosted plans in this calculator run from $279 to $1,049 on yearly billing. A self-hosted license does not move: Binom says plainly that you can buy a billion clicks and still pay only the license fee for processing them, and CPV Lab Pro's plans carry unlimited events with no overage.
What the license price leaves out is the server and the person who keeps it running. Updates, backups and a box that copes with a traffic spike are your job on a self-hosted tracker. Type your VPS bill into the calculator and the self-hosted rows show the real monthly total. For the hours, only you know what they cost.
Binom Cloud sits between the two: the same tracker with the server included, at a flat price that only beats the metered plans once your volume is high. The full trade-off, including data ownership and setup time, is on our cloud vs self-hosted tracker page.
What the calculator leaves out
Attribution platforms such as Hyros, Northbeam and Triple Whale charge by revenue, by ad spend or on a quote after a sales call, so an event count tells you nothing about their bill. They do a different job from a click tracker, and our ecommerce attribution ranking covers them.
Funnel platforms that report ad spend and conversions on their own pages are outside it too. ElasticFunnels is one: a funnel platform for paid-traffic teams that builds the pages, split-tests them under one URL, hosts the checkout and keeps the CRM and attribution on the same record. Its plans count page views instead of tracker events, with 50,000 included on Starter, so it cannot be priced on this meter. It is newer than the platforms it competes with and has little independent review coverage, so until real volume runs through it you are mostly going on the vendor's own account. That is usual for a platform built since 2023, and the 14-day trial needs no card. The details are in our ElasticFunnels review.

My take
Under about a million events a month I would not run my own server for a tracker. BeMob's free plan covers 100,000 events, and its paid plan is the cheapest hosted option at 1 million.
Between 1 and 5 million events the hosted plans are close enough that features should decide. Past 5 million, I would put RedTrack Team and FunnelFlux next to a Binom license with your real server bill, and self-host only if someone on the team owns that server. Run your last three months of volume through the calculator, then add 50% for the month a campaign takes off. The tracker that still looks reasonable at that number is the one to trial. All the trackers are ranked on features on our best ad trackers page.
