Northbeam review

The marketing intelligence platform for profitable growth.

Our verdict

Northbeam is the pick if you spend heavily across channels and have an analyst to own multi-touch attribution, media-mix modeling and incrementality.

Northbeam is the tool you graduate to when a percentage point of attribution accuracy is worth thousands of dollars in reallocated spend. It blends first-party click data with modeled and deterministic view-through data, and layers multi-touch attribution, media-mix modeling and incrementality on top. For a brand spending across Meta, Google, TikTok and more, that is a genuinely more complete picture than a Shopify-first dashboard gives you.

Pricing starts at $1,500/mo and rises to $3,500 for Professional, so it only makes sense above a real spend threshold.

The bigger risk is adoption. The most common complaint is onboarding: one G2 reviewer described paying for Northbeam and being unable to get it usable. Without an analyst or a data owner to run the models and act on them, it becomes expensive shelfware. Buy Northbeam when you have both the spend and the person to own it. We do not earn a commission on Northbeam, so there is no button here, only the recommendation.

Pros and cons

What works

  • Combines clicks with modeled and deterministic view data for fuller paid-media attribution
  • MTA, MMM and incrementality testing in one platform
  • Built for the scale where measurement decisions move real budget

What to watch

  • The published entry price only pays off if you have a large ad budget.
  • Onboarding is hard, and one reviewer paid but could not get the product live
  • Turns into expensive shelfware unless someone on the team owns the model day to day

What buyers keep saying

Research: unverified

Respected, but priced for scale

Media buyers rate Northbeam's cross-channel read, but agree it only earns its keep at real scale. Comments put the cost around $30,000 to $50,000 a year and say it fits brands spending high six or seven figures a month; below that, the repeated advice is cleaner tracking and cheaper analytics first.

“northbeam is great, but it's enterprise level and often $30-50k per year. So unless you are getting at least that back in ROI on optimizations to your ads (which likely means high 6 / 7 figure spend) it's not going to be a good fit.”

“Northbeam is good for brands spending at least $500K a month in ad spend.”

“Northbeam is significantly more expensive or at least was the last time I did a demo”

Flexible billing for agencies

Mostly praised by buyers

Agencies running Northbeam for clients recommend it and single out its flexible, variable billing. The same operators caution that any third-party attribution number is a directional read to sanity-check against backend revenue, not a single source of truth.

“NorthBeam is currently doing well for one of our clients - now, I would totally recommend it - but use your own mind and always double check for trends whatever you choose.”

“Northbeam is worth checking out too, but Rockerbox is (IMO) a step up. Northbeam does have a more flexible variable billing structure that I like a lot.”
