Kartra alternatives
By Dana Rourke, Lead Reviewer. Reviewed by Campaign Buyer Editorial. Updated 8 September 2026.
You already know what Kartra does. The question is what to run instead, and why. We read what long-term users report about the tools below and checked each vendor's own documentation and pricing, then ranked them by the reasons buyers actually switch: price, a missing capability, or a better fit for your traffic.

Quick answer
The best alternative to Kartra is ElasticFunnels. ElasticFunnels is a funnel platform built for teams that run paid traffic: it builds the pages, splits them behind one URL so your ads never reset, hosts the checkout, and keeps the CRM and the reporting on the same data. Same-URL split testing is the reason most teams switch. Its checkout stands out for multi-MID routing, which splits sales across the NMI merchant accounts you connect and only pays off if you already run more than one. It is newer than the platforms it rivals, though, and third-party proof is thin so far.
The shortlist
- 1. ElasticFunnels is the best Kartra alternative for running the pages, split testing, checkout and reporting as one funnel platform instead of four separate tools.
- 2. ClickFunnels is the best Kartra alternative for creators, coaches and info-product sellers who want a whole funnel live fast without stitching tools together.
- 3. GoHighLevel is the best Kartra alternative for agencies and marketers who want CRM, funnels, SMS, calendars and automations in one platform with per-client sub-accounts.
- 4. Systeme.io is the best Kartra alternative for sellers who want funnels, checkout, order bumps, and one-click upsells in one tool.

The alternatives, ranked
1. ElasticFunnels
Best Kartra alternative for running the pages, split testing, checkout and reporting as one funnel platform instead of four separate tools
What works
- Replaces the stack a growth team usually stitches together: a funnel builder, a checkout or CRM, a testing tool and an analytics tool, so a click, an order, a rebill and a refund sit on one record you never have to merge by hand
- Its strongest feature is split testing under one URL: variants rotate server-side behind a single campaign link, so Meta, Google and TikTok keep the data they have learned and a new test does not send the ad back for review
- The AI builder writes a page of any type from a prompt, and the cloner turns a competitor URL into a working copy in about a minute
- Its checkout takes Stripe, NMI, PayPal, Klarna or Authorize.net, splits sales across several NMI merchant accounts by weight, card brand, product and daily cap, and builds in order bumps, one-click upsells and subscription dunning
- The analytics view puts sessions, orders, rebills and refunds on one timeline, sliced by affiliate, geo, device or creative, and a built-in CRM and call center work off the same records
- A trial tests the whole tool because nothing is gated behind a higher tier: plans differ only by the traffic volume they allow
What to watch
- Newer than the platforms it competes with, with very little independent review coverage to check its claims against, so until you run real volume through it you are largely taking the vendor's word
- Multi-MID routing, the standout in its checkout, works across NMI merchant accounts only and pays off only if you already hold several to route between. A seller on a single Stripe account still gets the pages, the testing, the analytics and the CRM, but not that routing advantage
- It is not a merchant of record like Paddle: it will not file your sales tax or carry dispute liability, so that work stays with you and your processors
- The 0.5% checkout fee applies to revenue through its hosted checkout, on top of the monthly plan and your own processor fees, though sales on external networks like ClickBank or BuyGoods are not charged

2. ClickFunnels
Best Kartra alternative for creators, coaches and info-product sellers who want a whole funnel live fast without stitching tools together
ClickFunnels is the pick if you sell coaching, courses or info products and want the pages, checkout, upsells and email running as one funnel instead of four separate tools. It is fast to launch and covers the whole sales process end to end. The trade-offs are real: it sits at the top of the market on price, the bill climbs as you scale, and billing and cancellation draw the most complaints.
What works
- Runs the whole funnel in one account: pages, checkout, email, a light CRM, courses and a community, so you are not stitching four tools together
- Fast to get live. The drag-and-drop editor and prebuilt funnel templates are the most-praised part, especially for non-technical sellers
- Smart Checkout is built for selling, with order bumps and one-click upsells aimed at raising average order value
- Strong aggregate scores: about 4.6 out of 5 across more than 400 G2 reviews and thousands of Trustpilot reviews
- Takes no cut of your sales, includes hosting, and carries a 30-day money-back guarantee
What to watch
- Priced at the top of the market. Plans run $97 to $297 a month, and users say the cost adds up fast, especially if you only need part of it
- Billing and cancellation are the loudest complaints, along with confusion between ClickFunnels Classic and the newer 2.0 accounts
- Some long-time users feel 2.0 was a step back from Classic, and marketers report occasional bugs and page speed that is hit or miss
- Less flexible than a custom stack, and course and membership delivery is weaker than a dedicated platform

3. GoHighLevel
Best Kartra alternative for agencies and marketers who want CRM, funnels, SMS, calendars and automations in one platform with per-client sub-accounts
HighLevel is the pick for an agency that resells marketing to local clients and wants a CRM, funnels, email, SMS and a white-label client portal in one place. It is widely used, and the setup takes significant time. Shared email sending needs monitoring, and phone, SMS, and AI incur usage fees on top of the subscription.
What works
- Consolidation is its biggest advantage. It replaces the separate tools a small agency usually rents: a CRM, a scheduler, a funnel and website builder, email and SMS, pipelines and automations. Long-term users say the payoff is dropping three to six other subscriptions.
- White-label resale is on the Agency Pro plan. SaaS Mode lets you rebrand the platform as your own software, auto-create client accounts, and rebill phone, SMS and email usage with your markup. No single-purpose funnel tool offers that.
- Contacts and users are unlimited on every plan, and sub-accounts are unlimited from the Unlimited plan up, so your bill does not climb with your client count the way a per-seat CRM does.
- Snapshots, an industry template library and a large active community make repeatable client onboarding fast once you have built your own setup.
- After Customer Success steps back, chat, Zoom and tickets are open any hour from the desktop drawer, and billing has a separate phone path and mailbox.
- A Marketplace app, a scoped token and an inbound workflow webhook are each a supported way in, so a bridge for one sub-account can stay off a custom OAuth app.
What to watch
- Email deliverability is fragile on the shared sending pool. Users report open rates falling and mail landing in spam even with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured correctly, and serious senders end up moving to a dedicated SMTP or IP. Test a real campaign before you trust it with a client's list.
- Reliability wobbles across modules. HighLevel's own status page logged repeated incidents through 2025, across workflows, forms, SMS, email and the Social Planner.
- The learning curve is steep. Workflows, triggers, snapshots and A2P SMS registration take real setup time, and that time can eat the savings if you build everything from scratch instead of starting from a snapshot.
- The listed subscription leaves out phone, SMS, email and AI usage.
- Only an agency admin or an agency user can contact HighLevel's help desk. A client login has no vendor button, so those questions come back to the agency even after the premium add-on.
- Real-time events sit outside a Private Integration Token. Delivery needs a Marketplace OAuth app, or the inbound workflow trigger, and that trigger draws on a premium execution allowance.
- Zapier reaches standard contact fields. Agency-level actions and custom opportunity fields are where people wiring accounts say the connector runs out.

4. Systeme.io
Best Kartra alternative for sellers who want funnels, checkout, order bumps, and one-click upsells in one tool
Systeme.io is the pick if you are a beginner or solo creator who wants funnels, email, a course and your own affiliate program in one cheap login, without paying for four separate tools. It is a real, widely used platform, and its free plan lets you build and launch before you spend anything. The catch is a design and automation ceiling you can outgrow once your offers get complex.
What works
- The free plan runs a working business: up to 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, a course, a blog and your own affiliate program, with no credit card and no expiry date. You can launch a live funnel before paying a cent.
- One login replaces four subscriptions. Funnels, email, courses, a website and affiliate management run from the same account, so there is no glue code between a page builder, an email tool and a course host.
- Cheap even when you pay. Paid plans start at $17/mo, and the top plan with unlimited contacts costs about what funnel-first rivals charge for their entry tier.
- No transaction fees, ever. Every plan takes 0% on top of your Stripe or PayPal fees, and email sends are unlimited, so the bill does not balloon as your sales and list grow.
- Fast to learn and launch. Long-term users keep it for the same reason they picked it: fewer moving parts and less setup, which is what a first funnel actually needs.
What to watch
- The page builder and templates are basic. Fine for simple funnels and landing pages, but restrictive if you want pixel-level control or a high-end brand look. One long-term user called the editor "okay, but branding always felt slightly off for higher end offers".
- You can outgrow the automation and checkout. Conditional email logic, deeper checkout customization like tax handling, and heavier CRM or multi-brand workflows are where sellers say they leave for a specialist. The simplicity that draws you in is also the limit.
- Courses and communities are good enough, but they trail dedicated tools like Skool, and some niche features, such as natively collecting testimonials, need a third-party workaround.
- Much of the online praise is affiliate-driven. Systeme.io runs a strong affiliate program, and a lot of its glowing coverage, including Reddit "honest review" posts, reads as promotional. Trust your own free-plan trial over the hype.

My take
I would start by counting which parts of Kartra you actually use. If it is the pages and the checkout, I would pick a funnel tool. If the member area and email carry the business, I would start with a course platform, and I would skip any move that leaves you rebuilding courses you never needed to move.
How we evaluated these
We ranked these using the same rubric as the incumbent: we read what long-term users report about each one, checked its documentation and pricing, and verified prices with the vendor before reaching a verdict. The order shows which option fits the largest group of Kartra users. Where an alternative wins only for a specific traffic source or team size, we say so on that card. Our methodology page sets out the full process.
